True House Buyers starts from a clean slate, with nothing to undo and nothing ranking yet
About four months old, which is young for a market where the leaders date back to 2016.
The competitors ranking on page one run 36 to 540+ pages each, with city pages, situation pages and FAQs.
We couldn't find a profile, so True House Buyers can't appear in Google Maps yet.
Ahrefs shows zero ranking keywords today, which makes every gain from here easy to measure.
Ahrefs counts 513 linking domains, but they're automated spam sites that hit every newly registered domain. Harmless, and not real authority.
No structured data, sitemap or analytics yet. The quote form also isn't connected, so calls and texts are the way in for now.
About 1,700 searches a month name Cincinnati outright, and that's the floor
A Cincinnati homeowner who types plain "we buy houses" or "sell my house fast" gets local results too, and those two phrases run about 23,000 and 25,000 searches a month nationally. Advertisers pay $5 to $50 for a single click on these terms, which gives a sense of what an unpaid ranking is worth.

In Google Maps, the business name is doing more of the work than reviews
We checked Google Maps rankings at 49 points across Hamilton County and Northern Kentucky for two of the most-searched phrases. For "we buy houses," the top three spots mostly go to listings with "We Buy Houses" in the name, some with only a handful of reviews. For "sell my house fast," two listings with keyword-stuffed names and zero to three reviews hold the top three almost everywhere.
"we buy houses"
"sell my house fast"
CVG Home Buyers has 192 Google reviews, more than anyone else in Cincinnati. For "we buy houses," it ranks outside the top 20 at every one of the 49 points.
It shows up at 29 of the 49 points, at an average rank of 13, and never reaches the top three.
Page one is winnable, since sites with almost no authority already rank there
Page one for "we buy houses cincinnati" splits three ways: national networks, "best cash buyers" list articles, and local operators. The local operators are the ones a new site can realistically displace, and several of them rank with a Domain Rating between 0 and 10.

When homeowners ask ChatGPT, the same two companies come up first every time
We asked ChatGPT "best companies that buy houses for cash in Cincinnati" from nine locations across the county. CVG Home Buyers came back first all nine times, and The Kind Home Buyer second all nine times. Google's AI Overviews didn't appear on any of the Cincinnati terms we checked, so for now this plays out mostly in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Mode.
Businesses ChatGPT named
Where ChatGPT got its information
Where True House Buyers can win, in order
Foundation
- Connect the quote form to a CRM, with call tracking, Google Analytics and Search Console
- Create and verify a Google Business Profile under one exact name
- BBB and Yelp profiles, since ChatGPT cites both heavily
- A review request after every closing
A real website
- Situation pages: inherited and probate, foreclosure, divorce, tired landlords, repairs and as-is
- Pages for the 16 service areas, with genuinely local detail
- An About page with a real person and story, plus an FAQ and proof of closed deals
- Structured data, and submissions to the list and directory sites ChatGPT reads
Authority and tracking
- Local links from Cincinnati investor groups, sponsorships and local press
- Cincinnati-specific content on probate, inherited homes and code violations
- Monthly Maps grid and ChatGPT scans, so progress is visible
Page one looks reachable within a few months for city terms, given difficulty of 5 or 6 and low-authority sites already there. Likely the fastest visible win.
Starts with a verified profile. Early targets are searches matching the real business name and the area around its location.
Can move faster than Maps, because the levers are pages, profiles and list placements rather than review count alone.
What rankings and AI recommendations are worth in contracts
Rankings, citations and recommendations only matter once they turn into leads, appointments and contracts. This model walks each channel through to gross profit, using the demand numbers above and rates you can change live. In the other cash-buyer markets we manage, the Google Business Profile routinely gets more views than the website itself, so Maps is modeled as its own channel.
What today's leaders are likely getting, from Google search and ChatGPT alone
This is the same model with the same assumptions, applied to the visibility we measured for each company. These are modeled estimates rather than reported figures, and each company's Google Maps calls would come on top. The table follows whatever funnel and deal values are set in the calculator above.
| Company | Organic visits a month | ChatGPT answers naming them | Modeled leads a month | Contracts a year | Gross profit a year |
|---|
AI visibility in Cincinnati is wide open today, and it gets harder to crack every month a competitor keeps building
ChatGPT named 15 businesses across nine answers, but CVG Home Buyers and The Kind Home Buyer took the first two spots every time. The list articles ChatGPT reads mention only a handful of local operators.
Reviews, list-article mentions, BBB and Yelp profiles, and About and FAQ pages all feed the answer. Every one a competitor adds makes their spot harder to take, so starting now means competing with today's footprint rather than next year's.
Ohio Cash Buyers appears on the Houzeo, Clever and HomeLight lists, and ChatGPT cites all three. Getting onto those pages early puts True House Buyers in the sources AI tools already trust.
Keyword difficulty on the core Cincinnati terms is 5 or 6 out of 100. That number tends to climb as competitors publish more pages and earn more links.
The top Maps spots for both of the biggest phrases belong to listings with keyword-stuffed names and suite-number addresses, and Google can correct those when they're reported. A clean, verified profile is in position to take that space when it opens up.
How we'd run it
Foundation, Business Profile and GEO placements come first, with a monthly Local Falcon grid and ChatGPT scan so movement is visible before rankings mature.
Call tracking and CRM source tags trace every lead, appointment and contract back to a channel. The monthly report leads with leads and contracts, and rankings come after.
One name, one person and one story, identical on the website, the Business Profile, BBB, Yelp and every list site, so Google and the AI tools treat them as one business.
We pitch reporters on behalf of our investor clients through journalist-request networks. Those mentions become sources AI tools can cite.
What we'd need from the True House Buyers side
Does a Google Business Profile exist in any form, even unverified? And is there a physical office, or would it run as a service-area business?

Northern Kentucky, Butler, Clermont or Warren counties: in or out?Several competitors market Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky together.
What's generating deals today?Mail, cold calls, pay-per-lead or ads, and roughly what the monthly budget is.
Who's the face of the business?A named person with a real story is one of the strongest signals for AI answers.
One exact spelling of the name?"True House Buyers" or "True HouseBuyers." Google and the AI tools need it identical everywhere.
